As Talent Insight Group approaches its tenth year in business, we're announcing an exciting new chapter in our journey.
We are proud to become an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT), placing the future of the business in the hands of the people who have helped build it.
The transition marks an important milestone for Talent Insight Group. It secures our long-term independence, protects the values and culture that have shaped our success over the past decade, and ensures that the people who contribute to that success every day share directly in the company's future.
The move also coincides with a personal milestone for our Founder and Chairman, Glen Hall, who is stepping back from the day-to-day business to focus on completing his PhD and writing his next novel.
Reflecting on the transition, Glen said:
"When I founded Talent Insight Group, I wanted to build a business that challenged conventional thinking and helped organisations create better experiences for their people. As we approach our tenth anniversary, becoming employee-owned feels like the natural next step. It safeguards the independence of the business, recognises the incredible team that has helped us grow, and creates a platform for the next phase of the business."
For more than a year, our Employee Board has played an important role in bringing colleagues together to share ideas, influence decision-making and help shape improvements across the business. Created as part of our own commitment to employee experience, the Board has provided a meaningful voice for employees and strengthened collaboration between colleagues and the Senior Leadership Team.
Becoming an Employee Owned Trust builds on these foundations. It gives our people an even greater stake in the future of the business while reinforcing the collaborative culture we've worked hard to create.
Our own research consistently shows that when employees have both a voice and a meaningful stake in the organisations they work for, businesses perform better. Studies of employee-owned businesses have found they are more profitable, resilient and productive, while employees report higher levels of engagement, commitment and wellbeing. Employee ownership also strengthens governance by bringing more diverse perspectives into decision-making and contributes to more sustainable, responsible business practices. Collectively, employee-owned businesses contribute more than £42 billion to the UK economy each year.
For us, this isn't simply about ownership. It's about living the principles we encourage our clients to embrace: creating an environment where people have the opportunity to participate, influence and share in success.
Nothing changes for our clients other than a renewed commitment to delivering the evidence-based insight, strategic advice and practical solutions they know us for. What does change is that our future success will be shared by the people who make it possible.
As we approach the beginning of our second decade, we're excited about what lies ahead. Employee ownership gives us the confidence to invest for the long term, continue innovating, and ensure Talent Insight Group remains an independent business built around its people, its purpose and its clients.
Here's to the next chapter.
