Our client was looking to hire a high performing Strategic Account Director to grow its customer base in the EMEA region. The role was expected to develop new relationships with Fortune 1000 companies to sell the client’s Customer Engagement Applications.
However, with the role based in France, our client was struggling to manage the recruitment process remotely. They partnered with us to carry out a very targeted search and gather insights into the local market.
We worked to identify sales professionals working for major vendors offering cloud-based platforms. These individuals needed eight years’ experience selling technology solutions to complex enterprise level organisations.
Our market mapping identified 75 individuals who matched the criteria. 44 of these were prioritized for approach.
We then spoke to these individuals directly to discuss the opportunity and generate candidates for client consideration. While an English speaker was required, we needed to speak to prospective candidates in French. Seven CVs were generated, including two for other roles.
The client screened five candidates by phone and shortlisted all five for panel interview in Paris. The client successfully made a hire at €100k basic salary level.
Not only did we find an excellent candidate, we were also able to share a wealth of insights from our research. Our client found this very valuable and used the insights to shape its future hiring messaging for the region. They also asked us to deliver other assignments elsewhere within the EMEA region.
